• Refer to the definitions of revenue and expenditure subjects specified in the National Treasury Act, Government Treasury Act, Budget Act, Act Governing the Allocation of Government Revenues and Expenditures, and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Revenues is classified by source and expenditure is classified by administrative affair, and other accounting items.
• Includs National Treasury, Municipality Treasury, Taiwan Province County and City Treasuries, Taiwan Province Township & Municipality of Aboriginal district Treasuries, Fuchien Province County Treasuries, and Fuchien Province Township Treasuries; the gross amount of revenue and expenditure of each Treasury is filled in.

• Revenues and Expenditures of General Treasury statistics collected, compiled and published by the MOF are governed by the Statistics Act and the Enforcement Rules.
• The data on Revenues and Expenditures of General Treasury are disseminated by the MOF as a service to the public.

1.2.3 Attribution of statistical products

No ministerial commentary is released with these data. The statistics department of MOF provides its own analytical commentary with these data releases.

4.3.1 Revision schedule

• In May, due to the handling of the final accounts of the National Treasury, Municipality Treasury and County (City) Treasury of the previous year, revisions are made to the previous year's December (indicated by r) and the entire year (indicated by p), which are carried forward to revise the balance data from January to March of the current year (indicated by r).
• Township & Municipality of Aboriginal district Treasuries completed the final accounts of the previous year at the end of August of the year. Therefore, in October, the revenue and expenditure for the previous year and the entire year are revised and the balance data from January to August of the current year is revised (indicated by r).
